Spring Break 2013 Again
Last one, I promise...
- Going to the live broadcast of Music and the Spoken Word
- Walking around Temple Square
- Visiting 93 year old Grandpa Johnson
Spring Break 2013 continued...
Here are some more things we did on our wild Spring Break:
- Eating at the Blue Lemon and being mistaken for food critics since we were taking pitures of our food
- Eating at Zupas
- Swimming in the motel pool with family
- Color Festival in Spanish Fork
- Ugh, another full post. I will do one more quick one. I am almost done, I promise.
Spring Break 2013
It was Spring Break last week and our anniversary this week. This is the time of year that we get itchy for travel. I took a couple of days off work and we went to... Utah. It doesn't seem that exciting because it is so close by and we have been there so many times, but there are so many things to do and we had a lot of fun. Here's what our trip looked like:
- Attending the historic the Salt Lake Temple
- Eating a pastrami burger at Crown Burger which was featured on Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives
- Visiting the Hogle Zoo
- Fulfilling Adam's childhood dream of playing minature golf at Mulligan's
- Hiking Ensign Peak with family
- Ugh, I think my post is too long. Time for another...

SOMEDAY
Someday... We will have beautiful daughters and big daddy will have to get out his shot gun to keep the boys away.
And, big momma might have to get outher Adam's 22.
Someday... we will have handsome sons that want to grow up to be missionaries. When they are still little they can wear the ties that big momma made for them out of big daddy's ties.
In the mean time, we have our nieces and nephews to love on. Hopefully these will help keep Locklynn and Nora warm.

Progressive
Adam and I are progressive. Or at least we were when it came to dinner last night. See, our ward put on a progressive dinner where you go to different people's houses for different courses of dinner. We hosted some couples at our apartment for appetizers. I was a little worried having a lot of couples in our small apartment and making appetizers (which I have never done). Nevertheless, the night turned out great and was a lot of fun.
Adam and I made pinwheel thingies for the appetizer. They were really good. We spent a lot of Friday cleaning our apartment so it would be spic and spam for our guests. I had to work on Saturday, so when I got home we were in a bit of a rush to chop up everything and whip up our culinary master piece. The result... everything we didn't want people to see got shoved into our dishwasher! Apparently we were is a pretty big hurry. Today we found some cleaning wipes in a drawer with our Tupperware lids.
It sure was a lot of fun to eat good food and visit with new people. We are looking forward to doing it again next year!

Sad Story :(
Today I went to get my first pedicure ever. I had the day off and I was so excited. Adam had given me a gift certificate for a spa pedicure for Christmas and I was finally going to be able to use it! It was really nice getting pampered and having may nails done. I got my toes painted black with purple French tips. After being thoroughly pampered, I padded out of the salon in my flimsy flip flops. Then, when my toes felt dry, I put on my shoes and socks and went home. Once I got home I tried to strip my shoes and socks, but found that my socks were stuck to my toes and that my toe polish was ruined! The day got pretty hectic after that and didn't turn out quite the way I wanted it to. Don't worry though, Adam felt bad for me and tried his hand at giving me a fix up pedicure. I think he did a pretty good job!
Adam is one good egg.
On a side note, here is one of my completed sewing projects that I wanted to show off. It is a new jacket for Nora! My mom and dad are going to deliver it to her when they visit her for her birthday. I am working on one for Locklynn now.
Oh, and Easter is coming up. Happy Easter!
