Happy New Year
We hope that you had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We sure did! I don't know about you, but we couldn't have asked for anything better!
On Christmas we hung out in our hotel room in our Christmas jammies and Eli opened up his first Christmas presents ever. Later, we had Christmas dinner with Eli's birth mother and her family.
After that, we hung out with Adam's sister, Chantelle, and her 2 daughters, Sarah and Aubrey. They came to visit because it was "only" a 6 hour drive to us! We ate another Christmas dinner with them at IHOP, the only place that we could find open.
We were able to fly home the day after Christmas. It was much sooner than excepted. We were told to plan on staying in Ohio until the 2nd week of January! Eli handled the flight like a champ!
Our families have been super excited to meet and hang out with Eli ever since.
