Adam and I spent the weekend in Yellowstone- where the water is so hot that if you touch it you will go to the hospital (thank you for teaching that important information to all of the bystanders Hailey!)
We were hanging out with the yellow stones and Adam's entire family (-2). One of his sisters and her kids were even visiting from the Virginia/DC area. While we were in Yellowstone we walked the little Uncle Tom's Trail. Those 328 stairs were not small in my opinion. Aubrey thought it was a piece of cake, but I told her it was because she is only 10! Geez, these kids are supposed to give me an excuse to take a breather!
We also toured around in the family motor home (which, is different than a trailer... thanks for educating me on the differences there too Hailey!)
God be with you til we all meet together again BIG J FAMILY.

Camping 2 out of 2
I fulfilled my camping quota for the year when Adam and I went camping for a family reunion at Green Canyon. It was all fun and games...
...until somebody threw up in the swimming pool! And, although I know chlorine sanitizes germs, there was no way I was getting back in the pool with floating chunks of barf! Call me crazy I guess. Maybe I will be able to get back in the pool next year... just maybe!

Hot Air
This weekend something was full of hot air... and it wasn't me... or Adam. It was the hot air balloons in Driggs!
We totally want to go back again. Maybe someday we can even ride in them!

Camping 1 out of 2
When I was growing up, we didn't really go camping. I wasn't a huge fan of girls camp either. Camping takes a lot of work, it is dirty, there are bugs, etc. One the other hand, Adam loves camping. LOVES IT! I am required to go camping with him at least twice a year. So, July 5th we went camping with Adam's sister, Tiffany, and her family. Although I got a couple of mosquito bites on my face, camping wasn't too bad over all.
The place we camped was around Alta Wyoming. It was really really pretty. We had a great view of the Tetons. We took a hike up Table Mountain. We made it about a mile (out of 14 total). I love hiking with kids! It gives me an excuse to go slow when I am out of breath! My absolute favorite part of this camping trip was watching the balloon rally in Driggs. That will be my next post!

Latest Project
My latest sewing project was to make Locklynn a little overall-jumper-short-thingy. I think the little guys likes it!

How was your 4th of July?
Unfortunately, we found out before the firework show that someone was missing in the river. The show was delayed for a search and rescue operation, but continued on because there wasn't really hope anymore. So, we sat. And watched these beautiful fireworks. All the while knowing that someone had lost their life, someone had lost their son, and we were supposed to still celebrate. I couldn't do it...

Lock Photo Shoot
A few weeks ago Locklynn turned 9 months old. Abby asked me to take his pictures so that I could get practice for my photography class. Now, I haven't gotten very far in my photography class... or editing class, but I think I got some good shots.
Hopefully I will continue to improve, and if I do, maybe you will be seeing more from Blue J Photography
