How was your 4th of July?
Mine was good... for the most part. The day started out with Adam going to the Idaho Falls parade with his family while I slept in. We had gone to a drive in movie with my family the night before and I was beat! When Adam got back from the parade we went to a cook out at my uncle's house and had some awesome burgers. Then we headed to the river to hang out with Adam's family for our traditional pizza, a walk around the green belt, and the Melaleuca fireworks. Abby, Nate, and Lock met up with us to watch the show.
Unfortunately, we found out before the firework show that someone was missing in the river. The show was delayed for a search and rescue operation, but continued on because there wasn't really hope anymore. So, we sat. And watched these beautiful fireworks. All the while knowing that someone had lost their life, someone had lost their son, and we were supposed to still celebrate. I couldn't do it...
